Stuart B Meyers and Deborah Conton (Dee Spark Tarot) will offer insights into their connection to spirituality, astrology, dreams and imagery work, their distinct tarot methods, and how these systems inform their creative practice. This discussion will serve as an entry point for (virtual) connection and collective dialogue. All are welcome!

Her work also includes dancing and research in dealing with Black Social Dance via Club Culture. Inspired by the overlap in his queer and Jewish identities, Stuart B Meyers (@stuartbmeyers)  creates shapeshifting, time-defying performance works which crack open perspectives, awakening audiences to their bodies and spirits. Stuart’s worked alongside Robert Wilson, Colette Sadler, Nick Cave, Ann Liv Young and Tino Sehgal, and has performed internationally in venues including Martin Gropius Bau (Berlin), The Stedelijk (Amsterdam), Schaubuhne (Berlin), Southbank Centre (London), The Park Avenue Armory, The High Line, and The Shed (NYC). Currently, he is internationally touring his ritual-performance “*The Shabbos Queen*, a queer, DIY & Dreamy Shabbat Dinner Delight & Extravaganza,” teaches folks how to love themselves, and then somebody else as the character Yenta, and is rebooting his 2015 solo WITCH DANCE, a meditation on Mary Wigman’s seminal solo. Stuart’s received support from the Berlin Cultural Senate, the BK Arts Council, and the NEA, and is a 2019-2021 NYLA Fresh Tracks Artist & CPR AIR, a 2018 danceWeb Scholar, and reads Tarot as well as practices Dream Opening through Kabbalah via The School of Images.
