OPEN HOUSE | Fun, Fermentation, and Musical Chairs!

  • CPR – Center for Performance Research 361 Manhattan Avenue Brooklyn, NY, 11211 (map)

Free and open to the public.

Celebrate the fall at CPR’s OPEN HOUSE – welcoming artists, neighbors, and friends for an afternoon of hands-on fermentation workshops, a rollicking game of musical chairs, local food & drink, and fun for the whole family!

Roll up your sleeves and make your very own jar of sauerkraut with artist and fermentation revivalist Ampersand Paris, and groove until the music stops in an epic game of musical chairs emceed by Tess Dworman, with a playlist curated by CPR neighbor and DJ Ursula 1000!

Enjoy free food and drink from our friends and neighbors, including hotdogs from The Meat Hook, coffee and cider from Variety Coffee, pastries from Fortunato Bros., and sweet treats from 3rd Floor Brooklyn!

We’re also celebrating the launch of our Adopt-A-Chair campaign, where you can adopt one of CPR’s audience chairs for one year – affixing a brass plaque with a dedication of your choosing. Adopt—A-Chair today!

(Plus: the winner of each round of musical chairs will be entered into a drawing to have a chair adopted in their name!)
